A soon to be retired couple who were making a major lifestyle shift recruited us for their project. The couple was leaving behind the crazy city hustle for a slower-paced, more relaxing life in the suburbs with their grandchildren.

Though it’s a relatively small area, this open-concept kitchen and living area packs a huge style punch. It features a metallic tile feature wall which is mirrored in the kitchen backsplash, high-gloss white kitchen cabinets that balance the darker walnut furniture and a pair of fantastic wing back chairs adds the finishing touches.

It’s the ideal space for hosting friends and spending quality time with family…cosy and chic.
